UH-60L BLACK HAWK PROJECT

The cockpit rendering was done in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop as a proposed cockpit, presented to our U.S. Army customer, showcasing our advanced display technology. Once the contract was awarded, the brochures were created to detail the capabilities of the system and further market the product line to a larger audience in the utility helicopter market.

Collection of Illustrations

This is a collection of some commissioned illustrations and some personal illustrations. The monster on the last pages is a character I created on a whim. Being raised on Disney cartoons and having a great love for Walt Disney and his incredible vision has left a mark on my typical illustration style. Some may call it copying, I call it honoring.

Cockpit illustration for French Air Force

This cockpit illustration was done for a proposal through Rockwell Collins. Illustration was created using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Project was a collaboration between myself, members of the Rockwell Collins and Lockheed Martin marketing teams, engineers, project managers and our French counterparts.

Included in the project were the promotional posters and aircraft illustration.

UH-60L Black Hawk Project

Security Posters

Campaign created for the Rockwell Collins Security team, promoting the new ‘Look. Think. Act’ campaign.

This campaign came to me with a lot of creative flexibility. The customer did not know what they wanted but, knew they did not want a standard ‘corporate’ type of campaign that would not engage the employees. The top poster was the version the customer selected and was used on the web and email campaign, as well as on promotional materials, including tumblers, magnet frames, mouse pads and t-shirts.

Indian Creek Logo Collection

This is a collection of logos I created for a customer with a bait and tackle shop, including high-end, custom fishing poles and lures. These logos were used in a variety of applications, from hats, t-shirts, labels and packaging, as well as social media.

His original logo was the one on the ‘Indian Creek Rods’ logo but, he wanted to do something a little more fun for some of his product line, so I sketched a few bass taking lures and bait in a humorous manner and he selected these ones.

Jerry's Bait Shop Illustrations

These illustrations were used in a series of fishing tutorials videos, hosted by Jerry’s Bait Shop, in Muscatine, Iowa. Really fun project with limited direction and total creative freedom to just run with whatever hit me. Had a lot of fun with this project and customer.

Tackle Terminology

This illustration was created as the intro into the Tackle Terminology portion of the video series.

Hermitt & Lester

This series of illustrations was created for a segment of the show featuring Hermitt.

Hermitt was a fast-talking, NASCAR watching character with a pet mule named Lester. His segment was an editorial commentary on all topics but, always with a fishing spin on it.

As time the show evolved, the relaxing day of fishing becomes interrupted by a devious fish.
